This time of year, the deer can become pretty tame as they search for food.

  2. 3? I only see 2. Maybe that's why deer slip past me unseen during hunting season.

How is the deer herd doing this winter in the Keweenaw?

Are the people suplemental feeding them this winter?

Do many deer yard up in the area during the winter or do they migrate south of highway 38

  3. Some of the deer are looking a little rough right now, it has been a long winter. Survival of the fittest as usual. There are feeding stations as well as many private people helping get them through. There are several deer yards scattered around up here. Eagle River, Sedar Bay, Jacobsville are some of the yards 'up north'.
